Along with Cisse's six goals on his first game, Stephen Ireland has netted eight in three appearances for Wythenshawe, while George Boyd hit 5 on his first appearance and Lescott, a defender by trade, notched a triple in one match up front.

Wythenshawe are leading of the Premier Division with three victories from three and a GD of plus nineteen.

Paul Barrow, 38, who features on the flank for Collegiate OB, came up against former Wigan full-back Maynor Figueroa on the weekend - and had to explain his nine-year-old son who Emile Heskey was.

"We literally have not ceased talking about it - I was phoning my mother and sibling on the way home.

"They were all dead sound, shaking our hands after the game - it was like playing a bunch of regular guys.

"Now we are eager for the second match."
